I was in the gym last week and witnessed a gentleman trying to do arm curls with a BB. Almost every rep that he did was jerked from the very bottom to the very top and I would have to bet that hardly any arm strength was really used to get that weight to the top. He was a smaller person as if he was just starting out and I am not sure that he really knew what he was doing. I would like to take a poll to find out what percentage of the time are you jerking your weight to the full contraction and why?
