What do you guys do for a living ???

what did you do in the military? you could possibly get a job at blackwater. I would get a software design degree, move to marina del rey on the beach here in LA and live on a sailboat and work for EA sportrs right here in playa del rey. Weed is legal here, smoke weed and get payed to design and play video games. I hear video game testers make $10hr to start, no high school diploma required, just play games all day

Military police and I am from the east coast. And I hate video games bro lol...Black water would be cool I would go back over seas for a couple years no problem. It's harder then you think to get those jobs though.

The only thing you need to be aware of (if you don't already) with any skilled medical program/degree is usually you have to compete to get into said medical program, meaning you need to have a good GPA so take every class serious. Good luck and thanks for serving.

Yea there are usually 50 slots open a year for 250 students for most programs but I will do what it takes to get in I am determined. And I am hoping my military background and me being a male helps a little bit. That's why I need to figure out what I really want to do asap and have a rock solid plan.

I wish physical therapy was not so much schooling ):...What about a person who makes prosthetic body parts?

Hey bro, I'm 37 years old and read your post and figured I could give you a little advice. Firstly, I'd like to thank you for your service. That will look great on any resume! I'm not sure where you live, but you mentioned possibly getting a union job. I live in NYC, and work in construction for what was once the strongest union in NYC, and U.S.A. Other than NYC, pretty much just California pays as much in the union. You said you don't want to be beat up from working with your hands by the time you're 50, well I can tell you construction is definitely NOT the way to go. I hate it, and although the money is AWESOME ( when I'm working ), the fact is, unions are not doing nearly as well as they were. Non union is taking over. My hourly rate is $52/hour, but with all the additional money we receive in different funds, it actually is about $95/hour. The problem is we have a ton of unemployment, and for as much time that we actually work, we spend equal time on the bench waiting for another job to come around. Unless you whore yourself out and do crazy amounts of side work, (which is stressful as all hell) in my opinion its no way to live. I know you said you're 25, but imagine trying to eventually meet the right person, get married and have a family if unemployment is always an issue. Most marriages don't work out when people have jobs lol, you don't need the added stress of this. If I could be 25, I'd do it all over again and go back to school for something in the medical field. I really don't know the answer as what to do, otherwise I'd be doing it. I do know, that construction in any form is not the way to go. With times the way they are, there are scumbags out there looking to screw you over more than usual. I hate sounding like a downer, but you sound like you have your shit together and I'd hate to see someone go down the same path as myself. You're young, and have a full G.I. Bill. Take advantage of it and get an education in something that separates you from everyone else. Figure out what you LOVE, and get a job doing it, and you'll never "work" a day in your life. I hope this helps and I wish you the best of luck...
