what do you think of this training concept?

I heard that you working out on an empty stomach is good to burn a lot of calories, so what do you think of this:

-Wake up
-Do 20min of HIIT cardio
-Eat some oatmeal
-Wait an hour
-Lift weights
-Eat some more oatmeal + protein.
 
I would either ingest some whey protein with water or BCAA's & L-Glutamine before doing the HIIT.

you NEVER want to exercise on a completely empty stomach...

I would also consume protein & oats before the training session not just oats
 
also you can't tell me that your exercise isn't inhibited by the fact that you have had no food in you either
 
I Konw that whey protein is good for recovery post workout. But If understand your post it is also goog for use pre work out?
