What helps reduce post-workout soreness from lifting? Are there any supplements that work better than others?
Thanks

Glutamine helps your body recover from workouts very good! It may not help soreness, but it will speed it along and maybe you won't be so sore so long!(10-20g/day).

I don't see much benefit from glutamine personally. Waaaaaaaay overrated IMO.

Stretching after your work out can help get rid of the lactic acid accumulation. This may help minimise soreness but won't rid you of it totally.

Vit E after training can be beneficial as far as this is concerned though.

Adequate nutrition also. ie you'll prolly notice more soreness after a good workout while cutting than while bulking (although this isn't a given.)

***after a soak in the hot tub...how 'bout a nice ice cold bottle of beer?

....no, not to drink it. That was what you were thinking, wasn't it?
Cold glass, use it to massage it over the sore spot like you would an ice bag. Yeah. the cylindrical shape of the bottle will roll easily on the affected area, providing cool, relief.
Shhesh. Drink a beer....what non sense.....
:)

If I'm real sore, when it really hurts to bend down or pick up my arms, I'll pop a couple advil.

Light aerobic work (high reps or cardio) with light weight or no added resistance can help. So does stretching.

There's also GPP work the following day if you fancy it. as the guy above said.
