What is the most tuna anyones eaten in one day or one week?
I eat two cans a day
also anyone know the stuff about murcury in tuna?

I usually eat 1-2 cans a day..dont worry too much about the mercury really. I believe that they found canned tuna to be safe in regards to the potential mercury poisining. ?!?

Yep what Atherjen said. Mercury safe tuna:D

I eat one can a day on average, but have eaten as many as three.

I hate tuna because of the sodium. It's a pain in the ass rinsing it over and over again to get rid of the salt. Chicken breast is actually cheaper for me to use and tastes better. The only canned fish I eat is salmon, but I buy the no-sodium kind when I'm feeling richer than usual.

Peace.

I eat one can now, sometimes two.

In the past have gone as high as 3-4 cans per day.

Typically 1 can albacore per day for me.

I'm not concerned with much of anything...lol

I've learned to stop worrying about things like that because I have become obsessed in the past. I can't live my life in panic mode. Its not worth it.

There are approximately 87 micrograms of mercury in one can of tuna, Hightower said, and the safe limit is only 42 micrograms per week. "Essentially, you shouldn't have more than half a can of tuna per week," she noted. Such mercury levels can double a person's heart attack risk. "With cardiac disease being a leading killer among Americans, it's something to consider," she added.

Tuna Pains....

Have any of you ever experienced an unusual amount of pain in your joints and ligaments when eating a large amount of tuna??? I work at a hospital and was told that the ingredients in Tuna can lead to pain in your joints, bones and ligaments. I went off eating tuna for a while and sure enough, knee pain decreases. Just a thought to any of you who have pain and are looking for a reason....

Everytime I turn around, there some ingredient in food
that poses a danger to you, next thing scientist will be informing
us of is that the air we breath will kill you if you take more than
X amount of breaths per day...

Like my Aunt told me,
pray over your food and just eat

***************************************************

What does not kill you
makes you stronger.

Hope you don't listen to your Aunt when your wife or someone you know is pregnant, cause the Mercury in the Tuna can harm the child, and Praying over the Tuna isn't going to help then.

I can't stomach tuna.....It's so nasty! I have tried adding it to my diet, but end up coating it in Mrs. Dash after I run it under the water faucet to rid it of the stink.
I once took back 19 packages of that package flavored tuna to the food store. They looked at me like I was nuts. But hell, no reason to keep it if we weren't gonna eat it.
It also makes me break out in pimples. ICK!!!!!!!

I heard that. That is why I dont obsess anymore if I have a cheat meal either. Pretty much no food is good for you. Its either got pesticides or some other shit I can give a fukless about. Most of it does has an unhealthy downfall anyway. I want to enjoy life. I can also shred i a couple of weeks and be fine.

FYI, praying over your food is called 'Giving grace" and I'll
always give grace before I eat anything.

Everything that you eat is bad for you in some shape or form
so why fret about it, do everything in moderation;
there are alot of seemingly "heathy" couples that are parents
of children with defects.
