Favorite sport to watch out of the following:
Minus the popular 4.

MMA or boxing.

Football all the way. Today is the Champions League Final. Wieeeeeee! (or some more manly scream)

There is only one sport I watch and that is boxing. From time to time I will also watch ESPN strong man competition .

poker is a sport? when did fat guys around a table smoking cigars constitute an athletic event?

by the way i like watching the world series of poker. i voted x-games

Out of the ones you listed, none.

Other than the big 3 (sorry Iain), I agree with ForemanRules and go with the Strongman competitions. Australian rules football is pretty good, too.

First of all, Nascar and Poker are not sports, they're activities.

Secondly, no question it's soccer:

Poker an activity, I agree ... Nascar, why don't you consider it a sport?

I watch boxing and poker ... I also do both. :D

exactly, not only are these not sports, but Golf is NOT a sport and bowling is not a sport. They are games, they are competitions, but there is nothing athletic about any of these activities. Its entirely do compete in these without really raising your heartrate except nascar maybe, but there is just no athletic ability invloved in any of these. Next thing we know people are gonna classify chess and video games as sports.. :hmmm: theres already too much BS on ESPN as it is. I just saw an advertisement for the spelling bee,,, WTF

Sport - Physical activity that is governed by a set of rules or customs and often engaged in competitively.

Game - A competitive activity or sport in which players contend with each other according to a set of rules.

Poker ain't a sport. But the rest of them are fine, not that I have much interest in watching them.

I am not sure how you get that Golf and Bowling are not sports?

I don't consider NasCAR a sport b/c it takes 0 athletic ability.
Nascar, poker and bowling take as much athletic ability as video games. Are video games sports? (...the answer was "no")

People who think those activities are in teh same likes of things such as football, soccer, baseball etc. have no clue.

I disagree with NASCAR not requiring as much activity as playing video games. Those guys work out hard. I have seen their routines. Do you see any overweight or out of shape NASCAR drivers? Driving, Bumping, Cornering, Shifting takes a lot of physical strength when you are doing 100's of laps. Bowling is a skill sport and I give credit to the pro's because I cannot bowl for shit. You can be a fat f___ and be a poker player. You still have to have skills. Poker is great to watch.

Taking turns? Cornering?
Like i said, it takes as much physical activity to drive a car as it does to play Mario Kart.

And bowling? Dude, go to a bowling alley. Most of the good bowlers are big ass overweight dudes.

Notice the term "physical activity".

In normal people's definitions, physical activity involves maybe some running or jumping or tackling or SOMETHING actually physical. Whatever it is, it's surely more than turning a wheel.

is bodily movement produced by skeletal muscle contraction resulting in a substantial increase in energy expenditure (3,6). Physical activity has both an occupational and leisure basis that includes both active recreation pursuits like golf, tennis, and swimming. It also includes other active pastimes like gardening, cutting wood, and carpentry. Physical activity can provide progressive health benefits and be a catalyst for improving health attitudes, health habits, and lifestyle (7).

I just don't get the appeal of watching someone drive in a circle for 500 miles. Where's the satisfaction and athletic grace? Compare it to Jordan driving the lane or Sweetness breaking off tackle.

I don't watch NASCAR. I can totally respect it though. Have you ever drivin a muscle car? They are very hard to steer. Its like driving a boat. Most of us would consider a NASCAR race physical activity. Your wrong in your assumption.

I'm not argueing that bowlers can be heavy. You make it seem like its so easy. Those fat asses would own you in bowling. Just because you don't have to be in great shape to play the sport doesn't make it insignificant.
