:lick: i love fish very much and like to alot of it. but how do you know if the fish you eat is healthy

How do you mean "healthy"?

Almost every fish is good for you, the oily ones more so. Oily fish have loads of EPA and DHA.

Salmon, mackerel etc....

If it's oily, it's good.

what i meant was, you here alot about pollutants in the fishing waters. ( i do any way ). i wonder if i'm eating a unhealthy fish because of pollutants. by the way i only eat store bought fish.

the higher on the food chain the greater the chance of chemicals. swordfish, tuna, etc..

Unless it's fresh water fish you don't need to worry that much. Most fish in stores are from fish farms where the chance of pollutants is slim to none.

some of the sites are now talking about the chemicals in the fish food. it's always something. if you can find a fish that's completely clean you would be a millionaire.

Good point about the food.

Although the same could be said for the cows who eat pesticide ridden grass and nasty-ass grains.

As a general rule cold water fish are higher in EFAs than warm water fish. The only "bad" fish is fried fish.... at least that I can think of.
