Not just what to eat, but what supplements to take...

I have an early morning test this up comming weekend, and I'm not a "morning test person." So what should I eat, tons of carbs and caffiene? Or will caffiene make me too jittery and I need to take some herbs (Ginko, Echinacea) to help with memory? Or eat protien or what? Fat?

Have a well balanced meal of P/C/F. If you have too many carbs you will tire easily. Antioxidants will help as well as Ginko and Hawthorn.

Don't use too much caffiene or you will feel sick.

Hey bro this is what I did before tests.

Echinacea, 2 pills
vitamin E, 400 iu
PLus all other vitmains for the day

A banana or 2
12 ounces coffee
300mg ginseng

protein shake

protein and carbs, potassium gets your brain working, others for energy.

Yup, keep it simple. A shot of java never hurt either.

Being prepared (academically) and getting up a bit earlier so you don't rush around will help you to focus on the task at hand. Arrive early to the test site as well.

I've been to those early test sessions too and it isn't easy by any means (you're being tested on more than just the material). Good luck.

Definetly.... wake up maybe an hour earlier than you planned. That small inconvenience will turn into a huge difference, especially if you are not a morning person

Don't really try to do anything crazy either.... the suggestions made are great, but if you feel uncomfortable with any of them (I don't drink coffee, so that would affect me), then don't do it. You can perform when you are relaxed and are yourself, and altering that with something you are uncomfortable with could really turn into a disadvantage... have fun with the test.... winter session?
