I usually consume a protein shake and some oats. I will have a meal about 30 minutes later just like after I lift. I'm not sure if this method is the best, but it has worked for me while bulking and doing cardio a couple days per week. Sometimes I do HIIT cardio and sometimes I do regular standard pace cardio.
i am trying to cut up and i am running about 1.5 miles at steady pace usually in the evening or night...so i was wondering if i needed protein and carbs or could i just get away with protein and some fats...thanx
I personally have a whey shake and some fish oil caps, then another meal an hour and a half later. I also have no idea if I'm doing it right, but oh well.
