whats the best product to treat acne? clearisal or proactive or what/

i always used face washes till i realized that they were actually irritating my face and making everything worse. Now, i dont use anything at all. I just rinse my face off with water and it works great.

But I did have a success with one; it was the nutrigena(spell?) acne wash :thumb:

I've used Proactive for years with great results!

Clean & Clear Foaming Face Wash by Johnson & Johnson works on my face and shoulders where I also break out at times.

noxema

try proactive.

hel adderal does wonders
as does ECA
or even extacy.

retin-A

go to deramtologist

you should use this: Roaccatune

it is the best product availeble for acne!!!

pm me for more info ;)

another great product is: Tretinoïne Crème

pm me ;)

I used to have a huge problem with it and always wondered why during soccer season I didnt. Then it came to me during soccer season I was drinking water all the time which is very good for your skin. So if your not drinking much water more then lightly thats your problem. Also I dont know about you but that clearasil and all just dryed the hell outa my skin then it would come back more greasy then ever.

tetracyclin (not sure how to spell that) and retin-a did the trick for me, go to a dermatologist. Don't neglect it and scar your face up for life. I have a little acne scaring on my face and regret not taking it more seriously.

Garlic and alpha lipoic acid supplements.

don't waste your time or money on proactive, IMO. Anyone who gets cleared up by proactive probably didn't have genetic acne, but just bad diet/lifestyle acne; in which case just eat right.

I tried EVERYTHING, literally. Every single thing you could get without a prescription, nature's cure, clearisil, neutrogena....etc. etc. etc. Then I got proactive, didn't do shit. Then I got on some different prescriptions, didn't do shit. Then I got accutane. That shit works. I took it for 4 months, and have been off it for about 8. I haven't had a single zit in 9 or 10 months; seriously my complexion is perfect and it used to look aweful. I would recommend it to anyone who has tried a bunch of things and had no success. It is serious stuff though, you can't drink while on it, you have to really watch what you eat, it dries your lips up....

People tend to overlook the fact that water as being very important to our diet.

Yeah I saw one of those "if you want to sue" lawyers commercials saying it can cause irritable bowel syndrome.

Depends on what is causing it for you. See a dermatologist before you waste your money on over the counter products.

I have had acne forever! Just so you all know, clear light is COMPLETE shit. So if anyone ever goes to a dermotologist, remember, clear light is shit.

i had it most of my teenage life and the only thing that worked was accutane, but it is really expensive and has some nasty side effects and if your on for a long time u will need to get checked up regularily for cholesterol. The thing is Accutane is not a cure either. cuz i was on it 3 different times. my dermatolgist said my acne was genetics, cuz my mom side of the family had acne problems. If your acne is really bad go to your dermatoligist.

Do what everyone did with acne when I was your age... live with it until you grow out of it. It sucks but it is part of growing up.

pop it all!
