Danny was not as dumb as you guys think. He reminds me of that hyper kid from Smokin Aces with his jive lingo and pseudo-karate.....danny was just a nerdy kid from the burbs of Jersey going to a private school and taking pictures in his neighbors car after he washed it for $20 and taking pictures with his Daisy pistol.....
I think a lot of what he said was true though. I really can't imagine someone going into all the trouble of keeping a journal, trying to help people (he did sometimes), learning all the stuff he knew about martial arts and making up a completely fake character, pictures included. It was obvious he wrestled and boxed in real life as well.
