While doin Squats....?

Wow this is messed up...I've never had this happen to me before. Last night I was doin squats w/ heavy weight for 8 reps. I was goin up for my 7th rep and I felt a little light headed, and my nose started to bleed. I finished and racked the weight. I was breathing normally and concentrating on form as always. My diet for the day was good also. I have no history of health issues at all... This happen to anyone else ? what's up w/ me?
 
How do you breath?

I knew a teacher in my high school who went deaf in one ear after doing heavy benching. He said that he just held his breath when he was lifting and felt something pop in his head. I'm guessing its pressure building up in your head or something. Not too scientific, i know, but i never really looked into it.

As far as the light headedness goes, i get light headed a lot when doing squats and legs in general. Light headedness, nausea, a feeling of "oh shit, i'm about to pass-the-fuck-out" is normal for me while doing legs. I'm not sure where the bloody nose came from.
 
I'm just taking a stab....no evidence to back it up though...if you weren't breathing correctly your blood pressure may have increased significantly and then maybe a blood vessel was ruptured. ??
 
maybe it was just a coincidence?
