So it's fully cooked, you just defrost it? Is it flavored?

I bet it's as delicious as a beer can chicken grilled in your backyard!

I gotta tell ya...I have eaten some unappetizing shiz in my day for BBing, but I don't think I could ever choke that culinary masterpiece!

Has any one tried the Krab Sticks?

I have tried, they do taste like crab.

^ Nice! The hot dog of the fish world.

I just add some butter & finely copped garlic over it & bake it in the oven till it's tender.......amazing taste!!

Is it the garlic? :geewhiz:

Nope, garlic is very good for you.

I'm just visualizing them crushing up a whole bushel of crabs shell and all to make those things. I'm sure they taste good, especially the way you fix them up.

Hell, after all, Chicken Mcnuggets taste good, and those are beeks and claws.

I guess you did not read the wiki link in my post, here's the excerpt,

Crab sticks (also called imitation crab meat or labeled as krab) is a type of processed sea food made of surimi, or finely pulverized white fish flesh, that has been shaped and cured to resemble snow crab legs.

That chicken looks nasty as hell. I have some cans of canned chicken breast from Costco that I crab with me once in a while when I'm in a rush because I can't stand tuna anymore but that chicken looks terrible.

Re; Imitation crab meat, I thought since its fish that it would be a nice source of protein/fat, its actually very heavy on the carbs. Atleast the one I had was super heavy on carbs and low on protein/fat (for my liking that is).

This seriously looks like someone had a sneezing fit over a cooked chicken.
NASTY!

actually from a cook's point of view it's not bad at all. it's probably very moist and tender. rinse it off pull the meat off and use it in a stir fry etc. put it in a cold salad.

my mom cooked moose meat in the canning jar once and it wasn't too bad at all in a stew n i usually HATE moose meat.

LOL it does look terrible in this pic...I'm sure if you washed it off first and then cooked and cut into it, it wouldn't be so bad.

That being said, I only eat fresh chicken breast.

I use the regular canned white chicken breast...I drain it over water (let it sit in water to remove most of the sodium) and throw it in the microwave. I also usually put some sort of topping to get it that extra flavor.

I prefer baking to microwave......salt, spices & little soy sauce.
