Usually I stay studying for a long time but I can´t undestand why I feel tired just by sitting in the chair.. Is there a way to prevent this ? Stretching is the only option ? Thanks :)

stretching, getting up and walking around, or caffine

its due to lack of oxygen to the brain. as suggested, stretching, staying hydrated and getting fresh air and walking around every so often while in a "seated" position greatly helps.

How do you walk around every so often while in a seated position :D

well you get up and MOVE ;)

hmmm...i tried walking around in a seated position..but it hurt my quads and everyone kept asking me if i had to go to the bathroom really bad.

one of the most effective ways of getting oxygen to the brain is through the pumping action caused by muscle contraction.....that is why moving is effective.

those guards at Buckingham palace in England who stand at attention all the time without moving...they actually have to isometrically contract and relax their leg muscles to keep pumping oxygen to their brain so they won't pass out. (just in case you are ever on "who wants to be a millionaire" and they ask)
