If bodyweight dips can give him a decent physique at his age - what about the younger chaps, not mention if weighted dips are thrown in. Feel free to share -

My shoulders and AC joints hurt from dips. I don't do them.

A push up with feet on a high box give you a similar position, but with less strain on the anterior shoulder and AC joints.

I love weighted dips. I do them almost every week. My shoulders hurt from flat benching.

I love dips and I respond so well from them, but I don't do them anymore. My shoulders pay dearly with any amount of weight...

You can't just credit dips for his physique
First off "Uncle NG" does a variety of upper body BW exercises, not just dips.
Second, you cannot get that type of physique at his age without a proper diet.

I just mounted my dip station in my garage yesterday.going to start doing dips again this week.I love them.

I mounted your dip station last week, how you like them apples?

Dips are awesome. Definitely worth incorporating into any workout.
I use them as my second chest / tricep workout during the week.

They are to triceps what rows are for the back. You need them to get that overall thickness in the triceps, and no routine is complete without them. Thankfully, it's possible to do them without any equipment whatsoever.
