Anyone try Wii Fit yet? I just don't see it actually being a real workout. I got it for the family and it seems like there may be something to it for the kids but everything I've seen so far is too slow and too easy, but my daughter (8) likes some of the games and exercises.
Anyone see anything worthwhile in their for adults?

I hate it because you just stand there moving your arm around and people talk about how it is exercise.

I don't see it being a workout for someone who works out already. Maybe if you are a fat kid who never does anything all day, that would be exhausting to you.

I haven't really paid much attention to it.... my wife does it and she seems to enjoy it. I guess there's exercises like pushups and lunges.
I did the 'body test' with her and it told me I was obese!
frikkin BMI nonsense

On a side note, the only Wii game I like so far is Madden '09.... that's some fun shit

Its great to keep the kids busy while mommy and daddy go get a workout in the sack.

Other than that, no adult benefits...

The only benefit i can see is that it equates exercise and health with fun and positivity rather than the usual conception that its too hard, insanely complicated, and something other people do.

If it gets people INTERESTED in exercise, it can only be a good thing.

In itself though, no - isnt really going to produce any major benefits unless you are a big fat couch potato.

Oh really? According to recent studies done on youtube, it can be very beneficial.
