Hey all,
What is everybody's opinion about working out and sickness.
I am just fighting a mild chest infection with a bit of coughing, and I'm not sure if I should let my immune system just deal with it before lifting weights. Any comments? Will lifting delay my recovery?

Just feel it out. I usually train when I have mild cold symptoms. If I don't feel up to it, then I rest though.

thanks all.
I'll sit this one out and wait until the phlem subsides.:barf:

I just hate missing a workout!!!! Maybe a walk or something instead.

Cheers,

Your body will usually tell you if you are too sick to workout, if I have a mild cold I will train, (ironically I've had some of my best lifting sessions at the onset of a cold, no idea why?!?!?!) if you think you are too sick then you probably are.

If you don't rest for your sake, rest for the other people in the gym's sake. Believe it or not, germs spread.

Yeah, really. I don't wanna see sick people sneezing and coughing all over the place.
