Hey Suzi its good to air how you feel!
I can relate a bit too i went through a stage a while back where i just couldnt motivate to train and the thought of going to the gym sent me into a bit of a panic! I knew i didnt like how i felt but just couldnt give myself the motivation to get up and do anything! And when i finally went to the gym after a two week break i couldnt lift as much and this depressed me too! LOL a vicious circle!
Your problem sounds more like a mild depression where you cant push yourself to do anything and mentaly cant take too much on board! this is really common but i wouldnt beat yourself up about it! Dont go back to the gym until you feel totally ready! We al need a break and if you go back too soon it could put you off for longer!
Going on the tread mill is a good idea! Remember you are in a much better fat burning state first thing in the morning before breakfast so do 30 - 45mins when you wake up you will find that you will be able to lose weight a lot better!
Exercise wont boost your energy only food can help do that and getting fitter again gradually! Its so common to not train for a while lose strength etc! The first thing you may want to do is start on your diet first if you feel like you are contributing in some way it may get you more focused! My philosophy is when i thought will i ever get through this plateau was of course i will! After all Suzi you are on this board you are seeking help that alone tells you you dont want to give up!
So keep smiling girl chin up! I promise you we all go through this stage once in a while and when you do get back to that gym you will feel better then ever so dont see this as negative see it as a postitive you are resting and will come back more focused then ever but just go at your own speed and we are all here if you need any support or encouragement!
Ps oh and another thing dont look at the other girls in the gym you are just self conscience! Anyway IMO if you cover yourself up then the girls dont know what you have under-neath remember you are training for you and no-one else!
