sunday i did chest and tri monday i did back and bis today is wensday and my muscles are still sore. Should i still work out or would it be over training to do so?? thanks

If Im Not Sore Some Where Im Not Doing It Right

I disagree with this. Soreness is not a indicator of effectiveness. You become sore when you make a change---that may mean you are just starting out or you are making changes in your routine.

Feel free to work through soreness.

yes i am still new at this. I thought i have givin the body enough time to rest and wasnt sure since i was sore if i did give it enough time or not to return to the gym.

So long as you can still keep perfect form during your exercises soreness shouldn't be a reason not to train.

If the pain is so great you can't do that, then you are just risking injury.

Like Gaz said, keep the form good.

If it does hurt that much, go do some very light lifting or easy cardio (Active Recovery). Getting the blood flowing a bit will help to speed up healing.

I'd take a few days off. The muscles have not had enough time to recover and grow. Cutting it short will result in over training in the near future.
