I really don't have any fear of China, I don't think they have enough people with the morale to fight honestly for their country. I think if we did fight them they would get destroyed from the inside out by their own dissenters.

The real problem with China is when reform comes, and it will come. So much of the world's economy is tied up in China (as a the top producer). Show me even one transition from communism that went well. Russia is a good example of how it goes bad.

Actually, the USA produces enough food to feed its entire population, export for a decent chunk of change (~731.5 million per year) all using only a small portion of farmable land.

But a transition would still have to take place. What's to stop the organized crime in China from ruining the country in the same way the Russian mob has done to Russia? The country is thoroughly crooked they have only made a negligible progress in the last 16 or so years.

so you begrudge paul allen and bill gates their money? why? they had a brilliant idea and marketed in properly and made billions. none of us are being held down by the system we live in here in america. each of us has the opportunity to do the same. there is nothing in the system that says we have to stay in the socio-economic class we were born into. in fact our ability to change our class status is one of the most amazing things about our country. it doesnt bother me for a second 3% of the population is the wealthiest. and i disagree with the notion they hold all of the political power.
