well, labor day the family had a barbecue and i learned how to ride a dirt bike, it was a honda 250. big mutha trucka. i have never riden one before and i was able to learn within 5 minutes. i tried going down a huge hill at 40 and ate it hard. all i had was a helmet. the only injury i recieved is my left forearm got seriously tore up( mostly road rash) and my right wrist is a little sprained. it doesnt hurt too bad today, because i havent been lifting since monday, im just letting it rest. its getting better by me icing it.
i want to start my new split and start training again on monday. that would be one week from the injury. like i said it feels ok, i can turn it and move it around a lot better than i could monday. my question is would it be alright to still lift even if it hasnt recovered but it feels really good? or should i just keep taking more weeks off. i dont want to lose what muscle i have gained and i didnt really need to take a week off from training as it is. any suggestions?
