any1 been here lately? Im torn between the 1/2 cage and the full cage.....any suggestions? the full cage cost 3 times as much.Do I really need a full cage?
 
they have a bunch of racks there. can you post the link(s) of the ones you are leaning towards?
 
the 1/2 cage rack comes with all that xtra stuff for just a lill more $ and you can still do your squats like the monster rack.If you were to add all those xtras to the monster rack it would be way more than the 1,100.00
 
oh, I see. I would defenitly go with the monster rack. I hate having all that other crap around me when i work out. it is distracting.
 
so your saying the leg developer and preacher curl weight tree etc....are of little or no value? I kinda think that with just the monster rack and a good bench you can do all that any ways,,,,,hey if you had 1500 to spend what would you get as far as rack,bench,rubbermat,and some iron goes?

It all depends on what you want or may already have in the way of equipment. I've bought 2 Body Solid benches, 300# Olympic set and DB rack at different times from this outlet store to add to my home gym. The Body Solid equipment is quality stuff. They occasionally have sales on the 300# Olympic set. I bought mine for $79.00. Bar, plates and collars.

with the monster rack a good bench some bummbells and olimpic set will I be able to do all the excercises I need? wow 80$ cant beat that.

And 2 or 3 way ADJ bench... You should be set

Leg developer? Preacher curl??

UH, I would squat and deadlift in the rack....that is my leg developer.

BB curls seem to be a good bicep developer too.

you don't need all that fancy garbage.

If it were me I would get......

a basic squat rack
a bench
rubber mats
bumper plates

that is it.

If I had a little more cash I would get an olympic platform to attach to the cage and that is all I need.
 
im such a newbie whats the bumper plates and olimpic plateform ?
 
they are for olympic lifting. I just said that because i personally would out fit my home gym with all bumper plates since I can use them for the olympic lifts and they still can be used for whatever else you would use plates for,
