I've been a member for a few weeks now, so I feel I should introduce myself. My name is Mark. I started lifting seriously about 6 months ago. My original goal entering the gym was to lose weight, but I realized I'm one of those people that packs on muscle rather quickly, so I decided to lift. Unfortunately I have some prior injuries that prevent me from doing all of the powerlifting I'd like to do, but here are my numbers...
October '05:
Age - 25
Height - 5'10"
Weight - 204 lbs
Bench - 225 x 1
Squat - 245 x 1 (bad knees)
Deadlift - 275 x 1 (first time I ever attemped a deadlift)
March '06
Age - 26
Height - 5'10"
Weight - 217
Bench - 275 x 3
Squat - 275 x 6 (Nervous about going heavier)
Deadlift - 275 x 8 (Never maxed out before)
Over the next few months I plan on working primarily on my power, opposed to what I do now (most sets are completed with 8-12 reps now). My short term goals are to get 3 plates on each side of the my bench, squat, and deadlifts. Long term goals are to feel and look physically fit, and look good naked!
