Hey guys hows it going.
Just wondering what you guys reckon i should do.
My ideal weight is by july 2008 of 185 pounds lean with about 8%BF as i am wanting to fight in boxing and mma.

Now currently i am 22yo and weigh 176 pounds with fat around my waist and wondering what do you think i should do.
Now i dont know my BF% but its estimated at 16%.

Neither.

Start making healthier eating choices and slowly increase your cals.

Just workout and eat healthy. You want to be a boxer not bodybuilder.

Hey guys i done the online tape measurements - I tested measuring forearms, height weight, age, waist, abs etc one of them and it came up saying have 23% body fat. You have 40.5 Pounds of fat and 135.5 Pounds of lean.

And another test what only tested Height Neck Abdomen - 19.15%BF - 33.7 Fat and 142.3 Lean.

So after doing that you guys think it would be best to cut to 10% ???
Would that take me a while to get to 10%BF from 20-23 ?

Thanks. I hope that helps.

2 years is a heck of a long time to reach that goal. Like I said earlier, start making healthier eating choices, and you will easily reach those goals.

I had similar measurements to you when I started. I was at 175 pounds and 19% body fat on June 15. Now I'm at 168 pounds and 12% body fat. I stuck with a strict diet of 5 meals a day and did HIIT cardio 4 days a week.

I am a boxer now I played Sports in college and now to stay in shape i have began boxing, your diet is really important, what is your diet now, how much are you working out, as a fighter your cardio and plyometric exercises are most important you can be in great shape and not neccesarily look like a bodybuilder.
