ahhh don't ya just love it?

Well I've just started deadlifting, using about 95lbs (at 210lbs BW) to get the form down, so I definitely don't know how it feels to lift 600lbs :scared:
 
I don't bother with rack deadlifts.
 
I can't pull anywhere near 600 nor do I do rack deads, so no I don't.
 
Firstly your a stud if your pulling 600lb.

Secondly I've done 275lbx10 before but thats about it for me. I don't do rack deads either, but that doesn't mean their not good.
 
when you start your workout off with rack deads(where the plates are 2" off the ground) working up to 400, 500, 600lbs the after your all done you feel as if your high and everything else is lightweight. best feeling in the world :daydream: .

i just meant pulling that much weight then doing something simple like pullups. after you get done with that much weight everything else seems like a walk in the park. for example i weigh 174lbs and doing rack deads with 600lbs and then going from that to simple doing pullups was easy. i was doing pullups with 2 45's on a belt and it was strict form and easy...
 
...wow ur 174 and u deadlift 600? damn thats insane, im about 176, anywhere form 174-178 on average, and ive been deadliftin for like a month now, i started at 75lbs, and now im up to 130, so im progressing great, i love working out my back now!

yeah its great. at the top of each rep i hold for about 2-5sec for grip work. i love doing weighted pullups and rows and stuff for back..

A rack dead is very different than a dead off the floor or from a deficit. Not to take anything away from the feat. Just know they're different.

I'm also interested to see this.

I just started deads two weeks ago, but have worked around heavy engine blocks for years and I'm used to lugging those things around. Deadlifting 275x10 is no sweat for me, but I'm getting my form dialed in better before I push on.
 
weed and rum does the same for :thumb: But hey if it works for you great!!!
 
I have to be careful with deadlifts. If I do too heavey I get a big rump! I literally get a bodonkadonk which doesn't seem to suit me haha. Right now my deadlift is only about 75lbs X 15
