I wonder how hard he actually hit her because you'll notice she is holding the bottle by its cap and is still holding in when she is on the ground. Now that is a full bottle and it is such a small area to be held by the fingertips.
It kind of seems like she just got knocked off balance because a legit knock down punch would have you all messed up for a moment.

I just think it's funny how she's still all playful running away while right behind her is this dude ready to prey and she has no idea. Like a shark to some swimming people. Don't think what he did was funny, just the 2nd pic. Look at their faces.

If I were in a park taking part in a water fight then no. If I were walking through a park and a water fight broke out around me resulting in some dude spraying my new white shirt with red soda, then yes. I would be whopping some ass.

it has nothing to do with the t-shirt. it is common social courtesy. there are social rules people need to follow. when you get out of line you need to be quickly taught that is not acceptable. just like with the guy lashing out at the chick. another dude should have stepped in, smacked him around and let him know hitting a woman is not acceptable behavior.
If I was already in a water fight with you, I would just think you were an ass.
I'm not sure what I would do if you just walked up to me and did that. It would probably depend on a lot of things.

If I weren't reacting, but I actually had time to think about it, I would pull off some of her clothing in a playful fashion as revenge. I have pulling girls pants down before as a way to playfully get back at them for something, and everyone usually gets a laugh as long as every has a sense of humor.

How to you think someone could have stepped in. I am sure it happened pretty quick. The girl sprayed him and people saw him chasing her. They didn't know what he was going to do until he hit her. By then, nobody could step in and stop it. By the time people realized what was happening, it was over.
I would probably do the same in this situation. Chase her down, pin her to the ground and empty the whole bottle on her.

We don't know whether or not he got a beat down. It sounds like the situation turned nasty right after that so there might have been some retaliation
He didn't get beat at all, people got in between them, broke it up and then the guy and his mates just walked off. It was in the UK papers a few weeks ago.
if i see a guy that looks that mad i'll run first n laugh later. maybe they aren't strangers n there's more to it than this incident. hard to say.

*I've actually done this someone when I was younger and they puked. Wouldn't do it nowadays though, especially to a chick.
If I was in a water fight and someone did that to me I'd probably do something equally gross to get back. If It were a girl I'd probably wrestle her to the ground playfully and take the shit and pour it on her. The dude obviously has an anger issue or previous beef with the chick.

I always say there's got to be another side to ever story, so something not seen in the pictures is likely to be going on for sure. Also, his "fist" isn't seen in the first picture so it might not have been such an intense blow as it appears in the shot. I'm not saying it's ok to slap her either, but it might not have been a close fisted punch, especially since she's not splayed out on the ground but still seems to have some composure. A punch to the throat like that wouldn't have had her still grasping that bottle or supporting her body weight in any way
