My next "special" is going to be on how Obama is NOT the second-coming of Christ (I know... shocking ). And how, we all hope, the Change Zombies might ACTUALLY be forced to GET A JOB courtesy of the new "MAN."

Don't get me wrong, I like Obama, but I'm not a mindless supporter (CHANGE...CHAAANGE...BRAAIINS...........) I think he'll do fine as president. I think it'll be nice to have a wierd, bi-racial, multi-theological, and yet still very white and christian president. He represents a mix of different ideas and backgrounds - which is pretty refreshing.

Also, I wasn't a confused voter, I was a new voter, but I still voted the way I wanted to (successfully). I do place a lot of the blame on Katherine Harris for the problems we had - our election law was very messed up back then, and is only marginally better now (so much for reform ).

Some of those people remember when they were not allowed to eat in the same place as whites, had to sit in the back of the bus, and were called "nigger" to their face. It's an important milestone and something they thought they would never see in their life time. To some, it represents something larger then you can probably understand or appreciate. Yes, some of his followers are clueless, and no, I didn't vote for him, but it's a big step in American history that offers some closer to our history. As MLK said, I will judge him by his character vs. the color of his skin, but many will not on both sides the color/race divide.
