What about morphine/heroine?? Could you say the same?
say the same about what? I am not arguing that all drugs be legalized.
I am talking about equal rights, the current ones are quite contradictory...why can a female wanting to be a male get testosterone but a male wanting to increase his own testosterone to boost muscle size/strength, performance cannot, not even under a docs supervision unless he qualifies for HRT.
Yes, the total hypocrisy of it is astounding, a woman can use it to the extreme that she is unrecognizable as a female, but a man can't use it in small doses to boost themselves. Maybe someone should try and set a precedent and go in to a shrink complaining that they feel they are losing touch with their masculine side and need a testosterone boost to feel whole again....say the same about what? I am not arguing that all drugs be legalized.

With steroids there's side effects that might not be desirable such as depression, agressiveness, and many others just for the sake of a visual upgrade. Imagine if something went wrong or there were some bad side effects? The medical company would be sued into oblivion.
can't you make that same argument about many drugs that are prescribed by doctors?
Like penicillin, a doctor prescribes it and knows if his patient is allergic to it or not, you couldn't just hand your pills over to your neighbor because they have the same infection you had and hope they work for them as well because a doctor prescribed them for the exact same condition, no they might have an allergic reaction and die.....can't you make that same argument about many drugs that are prescribed by doctors?
, but damn gender identity disorder at 5 years old? seems a bit fishy to me
it's okay and legal for a female to go to a doctor and get prescribed testosterone to change themselves into a male, but a male that wants to boost their muscle mass, strength or performance (for whatever reason) cannot do so, not only is it illegal, in fact a felony to possess without an Rx, they will be frowned upon by the general public for using steroids....I just don't get it.![]()
So you are saying that he chose to put himself through all the emotional agony while feeling like a man trapped in a womans body? Because of what? Penis envy, boredom? You can't even fathom how a complex organism could have a glitch or two that cause it to mentally associate itself as male even though the body came out female? So what hermaphrodites and chimera's, conjoined twins, etc, etc... Are the only glitches we can suffer, anything within the brain must have been a choice? All brains and their chemistry come out perfect at birth right? Books and books of knowledge available and all some people do is eat the covers......man i've just plain got issues with that video. i recognize i've never been where he/she thinks it is, and i've never known a person in that position that i know of, but damn gender identity disorder at 5 years old? seems a bit fishy to me

Out of curiosity, why do you think Heroin should be illegal for use in hospitals? It isn't illegal everywhere - I believe UK hospitals use medical Heroin for pain relief.I was saying how morphine is used in hospitals yet heroine, which is basically the same once absorbed, is illegal. Rightly so, imo.
Steriods used to be prescribed this way. That's how Arnold took 'em.<snip>
Besides if it was to be legalised under the supervision of doctors, I'm sure many people would think it was okay and take it unsupervised. Furthermore there simply arent enough doctors who would know the cycles and stuff to monitor people who want to take them, as I'm sure nearly every guy would be on them.

up until 1990 many bodybuilders obtained them this way.
the only thing that making them illegal did was create a huge and unsafe black market.
Mmm tastes like lemon!! bitter...
Thank Yousince when are insight and compassion bitter things?
But if everyone was to go on them there simply would not be enough doctors to accomodate demand. Furthermore; somewhere like the UK where the health system subsides the cost of medication it would be a great un-necessary financial deficit.Out of curiosity, why do you think Heroin should be illegal for use in hospitals? My understanding is that because Heroin is so powerful, you only need a small amount to elicit an effect. This means less drug for your body to metabolize. Heroin - Wikipedia, the free encyclopediaHeroin converts to morphine in the body, I don't see a reason for it's use in a hospital...
Heroin is no different from morphine with regard to addiction. I honestly don't understand the bad press specific to Heroin in this regard. Junkies can get and do get just as addicted to Methadone. As much as I love drugs I don't see much use for disastrous drugs like Heroin nor meth...
now amphetamines and opium on rare occasion would be tolerable for folks like me who have the will power to respect them, but heroin and meth can grab you by the throat too quick.....
