Since Littlewing got her tampon in a bind in the other thread I thought I would start a new one. Post why you think Arnold is a cocksucker. All you homos that are in love at looking at another mans body please dont post here.

lol. tell me more about the tire thing, why is it such a bad idea? you live there, how will it affect the average person? i have an old jeep and i really like it. would this bill really be that much of a pain in the ass? $1000 fine sounds harsh, especially if you're working class trying to support a family. it's more than my rent and it would suck ass to lose it. how hard is this to comply with? my jeep is literally never in the shop though so it just seems like it would have been 1 thing more they tested when it was inspected.

this really doesn't seem on topic of the thread LW. You are better than that. don't follow a guy into another thread.

Without understanding California politics it would be tough for you to understand the rational. Put it this way, they couldnt even quantify if it would make any difference. I just heard on the radio they scrapped the idea because they got called out big time. Its a bunch of non-elected officials from the SCAQMD who are cult followers of the global warming scam.

my dream car is a BLACK 69 Mustang Boss so if this heads in the direction of making all old cars get tire pressure monitoring systems installed or banning said cars i'll come back n say Arnold is being a douch. you don't fuck with a man's muscle car.

California Says Yes to Tire-Pressure Checks, No to Banning Black Cars

Barack Obama was widely derided for suggesting last August during the presidential election campaign that if Americans kept their tires properly inflated, the nation could conserve as much oil as would be gained from the increased offshore drilling proposed by his rival.
As LA Times columnist Dan Neil noted: When it comes to politics, conservation doesn't sell. Many Americans are allergic to the suggestion that they should change behavior or moderate consumption, particularly when it comes to their automobiles.
Nonetheless, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) has now taken a small step toward better inflated tires. A new regulation adopted yesterday requires smog-check stations, engine repair shops, and oil service stations to check the tire pressure on every vehicle they service, starting in July 2010.
CARB says if all Californians kept their tires properly inflated, they could save 75 million gallons of gasoline and use 700,000 fewer tires every year. And the Rubber Manufacturers Association concurs, noting the clear safety benefits from properly inflated tires as well. The Board is also urging the US Environmental Protection Agency to adopt similar regulations nationwide.
It's not clear, however, whether the need for such checks will abate over time as mandated tire-pressure monitoring systems make their way into the fleet. That story goes back to 2000, when Firestone recalled 14.4 million tires used on Ford SUVs. That followed massive media coverage of reports that underinflated tires failed suddenly when they became hot, causing Ford Explorers in particular to roll over and kill their occupants.
That led to the Transportation Recall Enhancement, Accountability, and Documentation (TREAD) Act of 2002, which directed the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to issue regulations requiring automakers to install tire-pressure monitoring systems in new cars and light trucks. Those regulations were issued in 2002; while systems are now showing up in certain new vehicles, litigation over implementation and their effectiveness continues.
While regulation of cars and how they function is clearly on the upswing, you can cross one item off the list: CARB does not intend to ban the sale of black cars.
Why would such an idea have arisen in the first place? The genesis is hazy, but the thinking goes something like this: Black cars absorb more heat from the sun, so their air conditioning has to work harder to cool them, which increases fuel usage, thereby raising the car's greenhouse gas emissions ... and so CARB decided to ban them?
Well, no. It didn't. It never even considered doing so, it says, calling the idea "completely fallacious". But, you know, these rumors do sometimes take on a life of their own out there on the Interwebs and talk radio.
The genesis of the rumor turns out to be a draft CARB proposal to reduce auto air-conditioning use by increasing the reflectiveness of car paints. In the end, the agency concluded the proposal was technically unworkable, and killed it.
So rest assured, black-car fans, California has your back. They'd like you to keep the A/C to a minimum, but black is still beautiful.

I forgot about the black car thing. They also wanted people to put special tint on their windows also. We have some real nut jobs running this state. Its actually very depressing.

i really want to know. that's why i asked. i adore Arnold but i also think the government has it's dick up too many asses. i can't afford a muscle car but i sure as hell like knowing someday maybe i could have something i dream about and i can put myself in the shoes of someone actually living there n say tell me what's going on. i live in maine something that's a big issue here is putting stock trout and salmon in places we don't fucking want them. people sabotage the trucks so the fish will die before they get to where they're headed. i wouldn't expect someone from cali to know without asking why we feel so strongly.

it kinda sounds like the figures are bullshit. how do they know how many tires it would save? a bunch of politicians threw out a number.

Are you talking about farm raised trout and salmon? Farm raised salmon is so bad for the enviroment and our health its ridiculous.

btw, I own a muscle car and the state is trying to get rid of them year after year.

i'm talking about the difference between NATIVE fish and stocked shit. i fly fish on Mt Katahdin and the wild trout in the untouched ponds are a HUGE deal to the people who live here. the meat is pink and just amazing. then you catch one from a stocked lake and it's a creamy white gray color and flavorless. It's like some douchebag couldn't see what was here already and they ruin it trying to improve it.

Non-native fish threat in Maine

Trust me I know what youre talking about, Im a big fisherman. Most of our trout are stocked here, we have some native trout. The stock trout also breed with the natives and fuck everything up. I am also a surf fisherman and they are trying to shut down some of my favorite beaches.

lol. i didn't realize most of the posts in the car thread were mine. AND it was bio-chem's thread.

i don't understand how a person can have this deep in your gut importance? feeling? whatever of going to a mountain and wanting to catch fish that belong there not some damn mongrel that doesn't and so many people not have a clue to that basic natural thing. i don't understand Americans allowing the government to tell us when we can fart... I absolutely do understand there needs to be a safety and pollution check points on our cars and some species do need management but i want to see politician management... there are too many of those fucking meddlers and they have become a plague upon us.

Theres the money shot right there.

Trust me I believe certain things need to be regulated but we are turning into a nanny state.

Back to the trout, you should see some of the hybrid trout they plant here. They are mutants.

This thread is more like it :)

i want to go to Alaska and fish. i'd live in a mongolian yurt by a nice stream and eat fish every day for a year. too many fisherman would be happy to catch a turd if it put up a good fight and would make a nice trophy for their wall. they don't get the part where you're looking around thinking this is nature, my part of the earth, our planet as it was hundreds of years ago.

then you wonder if the fish will stay safe to eat :(

Camping at Baxter State Park: Daicey Pond

we used to rent lookout cabin
http://www.mainepreservation.com/Endangered/04.shtml

Gone. Nestled on the shore of Daicey Pond in Baxter State Park, with Mt. Katahdin as a backdrop, the Outlet and Lookout cabins of Daicey Pond Camp represent a historic connection between the built and natural environments in Maine. The two log cabins preceded Governor Percival Baxter's personal gift of the land--that was to be"forever wild"--to the people of Maine.

i wish i could find better pictures.

Great bi's and pecs. I've lived in CA for 2 years now. From a political perspective, I like that he is more or less progressive on the social issues, but the state's economy is in the tank fo sho...then again the rest of the country pretty much is too. So wild to think of CA in the same terms as the other states when it comprises almost the entire West Coast geographically and (as of 6 months ago or so) represented the equivalent of the world's 6th largest economy. Heavy task.

irish been in love with men since he was a choir boy. Those priests used to rough him up some. One time he told me he had to get his arse sown up after one sordid gangbang. True story :p

So I guess he would be the one to ask about prolapsed rectums then?

you could, however his poor grasp on the English language would render any reply a mixture of babble and gobbledegook! :loser2:

I didnt read one response between LW and the TS. Too long and dull.

As for the thread, I dont really admire any body builder, but this IS a body building site, so I keep my trap shut.

I did like what Prince, Robert, whatever he is today said about Stallone a while back. Stallone is older yet he still keeps up his training regime as much as his age will allow.

Thats how I will be and I can see the credit given towards him.
