Ok Guys I am new here so please forgive the newbie questions but I have been reading for a while now and cant find a clear cut answer to what I am looking for

the main goal is obviously loose fat and replace it with muscle

I am 33 6'1 and 245 fairly large build but way to much in the middle and chest. looking to trim down but not really "loose" weight I wouldnt mind being 250 ish if it were muscle not fat.

So a few months back i did a low carb- as low as possible and lost 27 lbs in 30 days with little to no exercise I had also increased my meals to 5 times a day which jump started my metab like no tomorrow I was always hungry but still lost great weight. Well I have put some of that back on by not following through.

Now I just recently got a bowflex ultimate 2, i know a lot of the hardcore guys dont like them but I live an hour away fromn the closest gym so the only daily solution for me and Im not looking to go pro just healthy and better built.

Questions I have

1 is the low carb diet cool with daily work outs (no carbs no energy) my normal low carb diet is fish/chicken/beef, eggs, brown rice, @ 3 meals and two snacks

2 best pre workout supplement ( I have low carb protein drink, is that cool)

3 best post workout supplement or stack (creatine & low carb protein shake) I seen Jack3d was a highly sugested preworkout supp is this a good mix for where I am at.

4 I also have a bottle of hydroxycut hardcore and Leukic that I didnt take much of before is it cool to add to the mix of things now and where do i add them

my biggest motivator other than appearance is the aches and pains are getting pretty bad, my back hurts all the time to the point I am eating aleve everday and a few days on the bowflex make me feel a lot better and the back doesnt hurt. So health, comfort, and looks.

Meal frequency has NO impact on metabolic rate. You dropped weight because a) your calories were very low, and you created a caloric deficit and b) your decreased carb consumption ensured glycogen depletion. You dropped water, too.

1) Yes, it's fine
2) just don't overtrain and you'll be fine
3) You're still too "juicy" to worry about refining your pre and post workout nutrition. Just go home and eat a protein and fat meal.
4) Don't bother, but if you need appetite suppression/energy buy some ordinary caffeine and some ordinary ephedrine HCL and make a stack. Google how to do this, also google drumlib for more on the EC stack.

Glad you're feeling better.

Kindly read the link in my sig on getting started? You may find some information you will find helpful.

Hey Moondogg,

Have you ever looked at Builts profile? Or the picture of the ripped abs with the "belly button piercing" :loser:

Moondoggie was kidding! Even I get the joke, and I'm totally sleep-deprived LOL!
