What's the deal with these new wrist bands everyone's wearing.

Do they really help with balance, and if so, will that have a carryover effect to weightlifting?

I'm skeptical.

Absolute bullshit. Save your money.

I laughed when I read the description. I laughed harder when I encountered people who actually took the description seriously.

anybody got a link?

some people do have magnetism problems, my older sister could not wear an electronic wrist watch when we were little as they would never keep accurate time.

the tv ads for those bands are a little more than deceiving in terms of usefulness for the average person. nothing new about deceptive marketing in the US. look at the "shake weight" I almost crapped myself when I saw them plugging that POS...lol

No.

Honestly, there may be some effect, but it's placebo.

Guy who came up with the gimmick is probably a millionaire. Crazy.

gimmick imo:banned:

Some dude went to my friends house claiming it worked amazingly and this and that so I bought one for 5 bucks just to shut him the F up and WHAT DO YOU KNOW?!? It doesn't work? no way! lol It actually made shit worse with it on than with it off.. They could get a string necklace and make it out of just regular string but tell you it's magical, hype it up and your brain will think it does work when in reality it doesn't work worth a F

So.. Answer.. No, doesn't work at all

Im marketing a magical necklace! It's called a pearl necklace, any takers?:sorry:

They go for 500 rand here which is about 70 dollars... I did some more research and a couple of advertisements claim it increases your core strength by 300% :hmmm:

If only...

If only what? That there was a magical short cut you could take? Stop being a pussy. You want more muscle, strength, or both? It's going to take hard work and dedication. Stop looking for a way around it, and for fuck's sake give up the teddy bear.

It was just a remark.... Calm the fuck down!

Curiosity was the reason for creating this thread.

You honestly want me to beilieve you were "skeptical" about this magical contraction that will make you stronger? Too many Sci-Fi movies? You're either incredibly dumb, young, or you're lazy and reaching for shit. I'm betting it's lazy.

Chill out, guy.

Buy one of my chillsocks. They increase your chilledness by 300%.
