Got to watch the f-22 perform for about 5mins today. Not sure why it was such a short run but the pilot took off and immediately went vertical into a stall and managed to stay stationary for several seconds with the nose straight up. The F22 performed this maneuver twice and then landed. Not sure if these maneuvers deplete all the full that quickly or if the plane is just to expensive to be performing for extended periods of time at an airshow.
Would have had some great pictures but our damn battery died
Disappointed overall with the airshow because there wasn't many military aircraft performing. Blue Angels were there but I don't think they even done a subsonic bubble, I think its called a compression bubble. It's what causes the boom after going supersonic. If you travel just under the speed of sound you can see the air condensing around the aircraft.
pictures suck, if i would have known the battery was going to die I would have had some pretty cool pics
