Never cared about getting attention, so I sorta didn't care about birthdays past like 18.
I rarely remember birthdays now, and even if I do, I don't care enough to acknowledge it. I don't see much point.

I use to care when I lived with my parents. Now I realize that it's my money that my wife is using to pay for my own expensive present. Definitely overrated.
At 52, every birthday reminds me how old I am getting. And that sucks when I party like I'm in my 20s and have the body of a 52 year old.
