Passing a Drug Test?

Ive got a mandatory drug test to pass as a condition of employment. I've also got some mj cakes in the making for a planned day of group therapy.

I haven't used pot in a long time so there's none in my system. Does anybody know how long a small amount would stay, or could potentially stay in your system?

Once employed I'll be facing random drug testing so I'd like to experience a day of laughing my arse off with friends before I do commence work but of course, not at the cost of my job.

There's too much misinformation on the net, particularly with mj as the results vary depending on the amount consumed.

Any experts on the topic?

I get randoms and just quit while I work.

I do know if you dont smoke for awhile and the smoke a couple hits it will be out of your system before you know it. I use to keep the at home piss test just to double check myself if I smoked on a wekend if I took some time off from smoking.

Eating some cakes though I am not sure, could stay in your system longer.

I always assumed it was four days in your system unless you were a heavy user but the info seems to vary depending on where search.

Ive never tried the herbals but I intend on doing so when I get the chance.

Billhicks it depends on the test they peform (and the percentage of the cutoff) and not the consumption (to an extent). A urine test will detect it up to a month away, a swab test from the mouth is about 24 hours from previous use, and a hair sample is many many months back but they all depend on a lot of factors that I'm sure you know (BF%, Age, Gender, hydration, metabolism, Blah blah). I've had to do at least 20 for my summer jobs and now future career. What blows my mind is that these tests can detect THC for so long because its fat soluble but most amphetamines/cocaine are water soluble and only stay in you for around 4 days. It's almost like they are promoting the use of stims lol.

I'm not sure about your details on the random testing but almost every site I can think of only made you do another drug test (after the pre screening) if an "incident" occurred (that could be from someone in your area getting hurt, you caught sleeping, etc). If your agreement says that you are subjected to doing them whenever they want well it changes things a bit but not much.

*by extent if you do smoke or eat it will change the detection times a bit. Those references I gave you were after your last time smoking. Eating will be a good 8-24 hours longer from last ingestion.

I hope you're right about the testing criteria. Id like to know that if I did happen to accidently ingest an illegal substance of some description I'd need to fuck up before they could demand a sample. I'll soon find out anyway.

If you get busted for certain amphetamines you can always say you were taking ephedrine for a sinus problem. The length they can test for is the absolute maximum but most don't even go close to it. Hallucinogens (like Psilocybin and LSD arnt really tested for, its too expensive.) Say you do have to do a random test, go chug a fuck load of water (2plus litres) and your tests will come back negative. They'll either make you wait a few hours to do it again or do it at another point (keep chugging water to fuck it up).

All of this is based on what I had to do for MY tests. Look into it ahead of time. Synthetic urine and detox cleaners is a blessing that works wonders.

I used to hate the fact that it is an invasion of privacy but I like it a bit now. It keeps a lot of rejects out of your work/job place which is nice.

BHF, as far as the test I wouldn't risk one night of weed for a potential job. Test can be gotten around if you have enough time to prepare, but random ones are not so easy. There are a lot of things to consider when talking about how long it stays with you, even after one night. Potency of mj, amount smoked, body fat, to name a few... good luck bud

in regards to UA testing for MJ they test for certain levels of THC which would indicate recent use (30 days or less). these levels are much higher than what is seen when residual THC is released from the bodies fat stores.

It is an invasion of your personal privacy. But with the current situation, it's not really worth the risk. Do something with a shorter half-life/detection time like a hallucinogen or something lol
