Hey guys, I was just wondering this, I know it's very hard to predict and depends on the individual but generally, for someone at in the 240-250 lbs range at 30% bodyfat (height 5'11), what weight would they have to cut down to to get to 12% bf? Thanks for your replies.

250 lbs @ 30% bf = 175 lbs of Lean Body Mass (LBM) and 75 lbs of fat

Assuming (This is a HUGE assumption, but for ease of calculation and give you an idea), but assuming you retain 175 lbs of LBM after cutting to 12%, then 175 = 88 % of your total weight (ie 100% total less 12% bodyfat)

So if 175 = 88% LBM, then 100% of your weigh is 198.8

So if we round up to have a simple figure, 12% bodyfat would be

175 lbs of Lean Body Mass
25 lbs of Body Fat
200 lbs total

50 Lbs of fat loss

But this is assuming your LBM remains at 175 when you finish cutting
