i have been a longtime user of caffeine, not huge amounts maybe 3-400 mgs a day..200 mgs before workout but within the past year or so i began noticing that i was tired all the time..i seemed to be constantly on edge, unable to just relax..sure, after dosing caffeine i felt amped up and was more focusd on lifting and seemed to have more intense workouts..problem is, i would crash and then feel just awful, sleepy and just irritable..so i went cold turkey and quit caffeine 6 days ago and so far i feel better, much more calm, my energy levels are much more constant, not the ups and extreme downs with caff..my endurance is also better now but i dont seem to be as strong as when i was on caffeine..plus, it takes longer to get into a workout...
im just curious how many of you have stopped caffeine and did you feel better off of it?how many still use it for its strength/focus benefits??
