Actually, not to be a stickler, but if you are ignorant enough to believe in talking snakes, boats loaded with animals that didn't eat each other, and people being created out of ribs, I suppose it would be pretty easy to not understand that if God is the creator of all he created Adam, Eve AND Steve.

The koran and the Old Testament all contain passages from the Torah. They had to do this in order to convince many jews to convert. That's why you also find many trappings of paganism in all three religions as well. It was necessary to convert nonbelievers to the new faiths at that time.
And yes, God did create Adamm, Eve, and Steve. Only, Steve wasn't originally ghey. He made that choice himself. Probably ate from the same forbidden fruit or something. Hard to say exactly.
