What is your Favorite alcoholic beverage?

Patron on the rocks. Vodka miked with just about anything a little fruity but not to sweet.

Don Julio is excellent but can you really tell much diff when it's in a margarita? I use cheaper-but-still-good brands for that... Don Julio for straight shots.

My main thing is microbrews. Good beer. Can't drink the low-end piss anymore.

I can tell huge difference in taste between Don Julio and say Cuervo 1800 and Patron.

That said, the biggest thing with drinking DH in your margaritas is not having a hangover the next day after you have overindulged. A lot of people over the years have said I'm wasting my money putting DH in margaritas as its a sipping tequila, but to each his own. Also, I only drink a couple nites a week to get buzzed vs having a drink or two every nite of the week.

I have a saying with booze....either pay for it tonight or pay for it tomorrow.

FWIW I do like 1800 margarita mix because its sweet not tart.

I don't drink.

cruzan black cherry rum with vanilla coke zero

Mojito, or Mai tai ...that's the advantage to being a big dude... No one saids shit about my girly drinks

I don't drink that much anymore except when I'm on holiday but my favorite drink used to be the one that was in my hand. when traveling I drink what ever the locals do except in turkey.

coronarite is my go to drink right now. I drink maybe once a month if that though and only have one. maybe every other month. I dont think my liver can handle every thing i force through it.

Enlighten me... What's up with the Turkish booze...

Some old Kentucky Bourbon, maybe a well made martini, depends. Most of the time, it doesn't matter as long as it gets me loaded.

True about the lack of hangover effects but I've found a bunch of the mid-range tequilas to be about the same, no offensive assaults the next day. Don Julio is tops though and if you can afford it all the time for all drinks, more power to ya. :) I try to snag a few bottles on the way back from every trip to MX, much cheaper.

Whoa, Don Julio and... a bottle of mix? Is that legal? I'm pretty sure the penal code stipulates only fresh lime juice and cointreau for Don Julio, lest the drink police break down your door.

they like to use a lot of yogurts, etc. in some of their traditional drinks. in general I like the types of drinks in the mediterranean because they use a lot of fruits and spices, stuff you don't see much at all in the US.

There's a mid-range tequila on the same 'shelf' and about the same price as Patron that I really like and is much better quality than Patron (no hangover) but I can't remember its name....I'd have to see it at the store.

As far as the mix its goes its a compromise that keeps the wife happy. ;)

I have been on a wine kick lately with cabernet being my favorite, I also like grey goose when I'm drinking liqour, goes down smooth and your head is still in tact the next day.
