I know he's full of shit, he's claiming 50, 75, and 90 yards. With a pistol. Like I said, I know he's full of shit but all I can find are current distances of 7, 15, and 25 yards.
50 yrds lol all the qualifications goes by 5ft for a pistol. 90 yards lol could you even see the target with a pistol at 90? what do you aim 10 feet over the target. We shoot at maybe 100 plus feet with our pistols and do contests for that for fun and that is hard as fuck... I can barely hit 50% at that distance. No way i could qualify for it. Unless they let you shoot 1911's with trigger jobs that are flawless so there is zero change of trigger pull lol.

At those distances he's full of shit
My tall tale telling friend was responding to my miracle shot on Sunday when I was at an outdoor range. I hit a beer can at 82 yards. It took me 5 shots to be able to get the proper aim point and even then considering my bad shooting habits it's a miracle I hit it. At that range the sight would cover a complete 12 pack standing on end. I had to aim about 8ft above and 5 feet to the left. Did that with my 1911. So, virtually no skill involved. 99% luck.
His response when I told him about the shot? "That's a pretty big target at that range. In the Corps we had to qualify at 50, 75 and 90 yards." Came close to caving in one side of his head with a good solid punch.
25 yards Max, if you have to shoot some one with a 45 or baretta at a longer distance than that your in deep shit
Oh, I just love hearing the warriors without a clue. My favorite was the 20 something, 300 pound jelly roll with coke bottle glasses that told me he was a former SEAL Team 1 member, but was asking me for help zeroing his rifle. Because they "didn't use this type of scope in the SEALS".
Should have slapped him.
25 yards is a long shot with a handgun. Maybe he was thinking shotgun distances. I know the police have to hit a 100 yard target with 12 gauge slugs in some states.
odds are he was a MS or a BM and never touched a weapon after bootcamp.
Probably an SK, PC or YN, maybe an ABF, huffing too much JP5 made him hallucinate he was a SEAL.
