    Question about Oatmeal...

It is of no concern what type of oats you use. The only concern is the type the person would be using to blend in a shake. She did not specify the type. That is my point. I don't know why you responded with: "you'd be arguing about something no one is even talking about - regular oats" I...

    Question about Oatmeal...

I made two assumptions in the posting of my first reply: 1. When cooking oats, typical preparation does not result in a paste. I based this assumption on my own means of preparation in accordance with directions on Quaker Old Fashioned Oats, and that of others I have observed, who tend to...

    Question about Oatmeal...

So, don't chew them up either? Don't forget that if they are blended in a shake, they have not softened to the extent that they would if they were cooked. Your stomach churning about can smush and liquefy a cooked oat faster than a small piece of a raw one. Think of how easy it is to destroy a...

    Triscuits

Kashi has "TLC (Tasty Little Crackers) That are labelled trans fat free. They are damn good too. I have them in my local Super Target. I have only seen the ranch flavored ones in local grocery stores. There are honey and regular flavors as well. They do have soy though.

    Gaining Weight Fast?

Am I the only one impressed with this guy putting on 2 lbs per week? If those numbers are accurate, I'd say you should keep doing whatever you have been as long as the gains keep up. Increasing your body mass by 12% in two months is pretty fast. Try some one-legged bodyweight squats while you...

    An army of boobs.

Completely true. Liposuction has no use in the real world of combat surgery, making incisions and properly closing them does, as does reconstructive surgery. I know someone personally that had a lift done many years ago in the Army, specifically for surgeon training.

    BlueX_v1: eating, lifting, resting

I'm going to see if I can keep one of these journals going, to help me with my diet more than anything else. This is the first time I have really taken weight training seriously and educated myself about it and looked at it as a lifestyle change rather than an activity. I'm pretty much on the...

    another newbie hello

Hello. My handle is BlueX_v1, and I'm an ectomorph. Age: 25. Height: 5' 10". Weight: 140 lbs. Male. I've been a skinny bastard all my life. My brother and uncles are all skinny. I used to be in decent aerobic shape, but for the last 4 years I have been a pathetic sedentary office/computer...
