    Jerk is total body- bench is king of upper body, because it works almost all of your upper body. after a good bench session, i feel it in my triceps, chest, lats, traps, and shoulders. I have packed on an unbelieveable amount of mass with this exercise. it is the best movement you can do that...

    I agree. I used to suck at BB, and still do- but rather than not do it and say how bad it is like a ton of people on this board *couh* *you know who you are* *cough* i decided to work on my weakness, and have found it to be my favorite mass builder along with deadlifts.

    you dont need whey. Eat as you please. if you have trouble eating enough meat, then you need protein.

    Problems gaing more weight.

    maybe your just not giving it enough time. you dont just gain 10 pounds in a month all that often. try drinking more water. half to 3/4 a gallon a day. you could just be dehydrated. also, maybe your not getting all the minerals you need. do you eat your vegetables and fruits?

    water has no calories. i only drink soda, because it has lots of sugar which makes many caolries for me. beer too. beer has lots of good calories too. I never thought about koolaid, but ill give that a try.

    clean and jerks, snatch, push press, hang cleans, and isolateral bench press. Id also do some plyometrics. doo a google hit on plyometrics to find out what they are, if you dont know.

    people argue about push presses, but im going to agree with you. I Love it as a mass builder. Maybe you could do 1 set of standing BB military, and then the following two sets jump the weight way up and do a push press. also.... shurgs on a smith? thats just ignant. bb shrugs are amazing!

    Crunchs... worth it?

    Its worth it. You can still make them bigger so they look better when your bodyfat gets down. Also, its good to have strong abs to keep your back healthy.
