Always liked swimming. I worked as a lifeguard through college. Helps a great deal when I've had to rehab from serious injury. It was the only thing I could still do for months after having 2 discs replaced in my back. Never was very fast or anything, but I find swimming to be very relaxing.
Not a bad exercise for powerlifters and guys doing the strongman comps. I tried them for awhile back in the early 90's. Form is crucial, so start with very light weight until your form is solid. Zercher squats are another way to throw a bit of variety into your program.
Seems to me that the issue of gay marriage is about civil rights. It will pass, it's only a matter of time. Personally, I hope the time is now. I do agree with Bio-chem and his vehemence against all the insipid symbols people use to display their particular views. I'm not into social media...
Even the term "assault weapon" is misleading. There is no such category of weapon. All guns are weapons capable of assault. Guns are here to stay in the U.S.
No problem here, as long as they include mandatory weapons training. Some idiot buying a gun and not knowing how to use it does nothing to protect anyone, and in fact makes everyone more at risk.
With d-bells you can still do many basic exercises. Squats, deadlifts, cleans, overhead press, ect. Pushups, situps w/ your bodyweight, along w/ pullups with your bar. Many things can be done with little equipment. Get creative, and good luck!
Gotta have a good bike and plenty of time. My brother went coast to coast and back twice on a BMW. More of a Harley/Indian guy myself, but you can't argue with BMW as a solid, comfortable touring bike.
I think ultimately his death was due to suffering from substance abuse issues and mental illness. I'm sure each made the other worse. Very sad that he wasn't able to get help before it was too late.
For me, feeling like shit is only temporary on Keto. Nothing else works as well for me. Carb cycling works well for maintenance, but if I want to really get lean, Keto is the way to go.
Education is invaluable, but I agree that the cost of higher ed. has gone through the roof, especially considering what kids will likely make when they graduate. I see many loan defaults in the future.
