2006 nfl draft tell me what you think

sound off guys/girls i want to know what you think about this years nfl draft. here are a few of the things i think about this draft.

Houston: we have a problem. how the hell did they pass up on reggie bush? the last 5 defensive linemen to be taken #1 overall have been busts.

Tennessee: Young is a great athlete but not a quarterback. bad decision. should have gone with Leinhart. Lendale White was a good choice though

Arizona: Wow. Leinhart, James, Fitzgeralt, Boldin, Pope. Arizona fans have to be singing praises to the God of professional sports right now.

Denver: well we trade last years 1st rounder to washington and they pick a quarterback. Campbell out of Aubern. we use that and some other trades to get Cutler this year. i wonder who the better QB is. we needed javon walker. and is tatem bell really our everydown back? what does shanahan know?

Which part? Philly will need to replace McNabb shortly, he gets injured too much and he has consistently gone downhill since he started avoiding the scramble. He had a decent year in 2004, but who wouldn't given the cake schedule they had against a shitty NFC East that is no longer shitty?

In Donovan's 8 year career he has been injured 2 times for an extended period of time. He is still in the top 3 of all active QB's in most statistical categories. Prior to last year even when he was injured for an extended period of time, they made the NFC championship game. What the Eagles really need is a RB that can run between the tackles. Brian Westbrook can't. Donovan has many years left to play, and Andy Reid insured he'll be safe for the next few by drafting one of the most athletic offensive lineman in the draft. The only reason he avoided the scramble this year was a little something called a sports hernia...

I was happy with Seattle's draft. They needed a good corner and DE. If you consider Nate Burleson as a "pick" it looks even better. (They gave up their third for him)

The punter from Wake Forest will be nice too, Seattle's current punter sucks.

I'll agree he was scrambling less than prior years, but until last year with the sports hernia, teams were still gameplanning his scrambling ability. Last year there was no threat of him taking off and running, so teams could play an extra guy back therefore thwarting any chance Philly had for a passing attack. I'm happy with the WR they picked up out of Colorado though. I can't think of his name, but he was an olympic downhill skier, and is pure speed.

We can get a RB anytime. You don't want to waste a draft on a RB. The 1 or 2 good ones go fast. We never get a chance.

Thanks. Green Bay hired Ted Thompson from Seattle and I didn't know who replaced him.

As for Thompson, I thought his most pronounced quality before the draft was that he looked like an ax murderer. Now after the draft, he looks like he knows what he's doing.

Arizona definitely had one of the better pick ups in Leinart, but I don't think Pope is going to be as good as people think. He did worse on his Wonderlic test than Vince. We'll see.

I think Carolina had a good productive draft. DeAngelo Williams will be a great compliment to DeShaun Foster. Their defense continues to get better and will dominate once again this year with their draft picks.

I don't think they are overrated, they still aren't very good, but they are no longer the worst. That is either the AFC East (Minus the Pats, but maybe not minus them this year) or the NFC West (Minus Seattle).

Eagles hardly run the ball. I don't think RB is a primary position for them to fill. What 5 positions?
