My husband never felt that way
Tbh he when though the toughstuff in that i wasn't a dancer when we met, married or had our kids that all came later.
He went from marrying a regular woman, to having his wife and mother of his children start dance class's.. he watched my first live gig (front row with camera and all his mates haha) and still always supported me and was happy as long as i was. If he'd have EVER said he wasn't happy with it, or ithat it made in uncomfortable i would have quit in a heart beat but he never did because he knew how muhc i loved it.
Granted he used to always "cheak out clubs" before i danced there to make sure there was security, and always came with me to my first few jobs in a few club to make sure i was safe. Sometimes when he wasn't happy with a club, for example if security was lax and wasn't taking care of the dancers we'd make the decison together that perhaps it was a gig i wasn't going to do.
He always said watching me dance made him feel like the luckiest guy around because every other man in the club wanted me but only he got to have me. Which is why im a firm beliver that some guys can handle it even if all can't.
I agree it's to do with perceptions, alot of people serio-type the type of person i must be, sadly they are mostly very wrong.. there is a huge leap from men fantasizing about having me and actually having me. Hell men fantasize about pretty girls regardless of the job they do, maybe men should start looking to date ugly women if they want to be sure they are 100% thiers.
