I've jumped into a pile of boxes from 2 stories and it fucking hurt, I hit one of the edges with my ribcage and had a huge bruise for weeks....I wouldn't call that comfortable, but I guess when falling from 2400 feet a bruise woudl be a lot more comfortable than multiple fractures....
