5-day split?

training with weights 5 days in a row is a no no.
 
yeah its a BIG NO..you need 1 day of rest in between somewhere
 
Personally, I never train two days in a row. My workouts are too taxing to my CNS for me to do that.
 
I do it.

Monday-Chest
Tuesday- Back
Wednesday-Shoulders
Thursday-Arms
Fri- Legs

Recently thou I have combining arms/legs on sat. so there may be some truth in what you said it to be taxing in the long run.

I don't go more than two days in a rows. No more than 4 days a week.
