i don't think jay meant he literally smiles but most hunters are happy or relieved to get their deer for the season. my father gave it up later in life, said he figured he'd killed enough of them.

Yeah, cause moving your facial muscles, especially your cheeks can throw off your aim. I hope he compensates for that if he really smiles or there are some wounded deer running around out there.

I sell at least 50 of these a year, pv powered of course. When the utility wants $20,000 per pole to run a line to your house and you live a half mile from the closest tie-in, putting up $40,000 worth of pv modules, batteries, inverters, propane fridge stove dryer, and generator doesn't sound stupid. But the greatest thing is now you have no recurring bill for your electricity for at least 15+ years if you bought decent batteries. If you have a well and septic system or composting toilet then no water bill either. It can be very liberating.

I read it. Apparently you didn't read that I read it. You said you don't enjoy it. I'm asking why would you do something you don't enjoy? For sustenance or not. Good internet in the woods?

A sustanence hunter doesnt hunt for pleasure or trophy racks, he hunts to be self sustainable, for food...I use an air card for my internet service its the only way to get it out here...It works just like my cell phones, ya i have cell phones in the woods to, isnt modern technology amazing?

I know Zap is just messin with me but just to clarify...I do have power to my land i used it to build my cabin...Once my cabin was complete i switched to Solar and wind power for all my electrical needs...I have well water so no city water, and my main source of heat is my wood stove and firewood...I dont cut any trees down i have enough dead wood on my 20 acres to use each season...I also have a 500 gallon propane tank and a propane heater for back up heat incase of emergency...Also a propane generator and a gas generator for emergencies...I have no land lines out here for cable internet or phones...So no cable TV which i dont miss at all...I do watch some TV on the internet occasionally...If something ever went wrong with my solar set up i always have the grid to fall back on, but i hope i never need to.
