Lol this shit is funny... I meet a guy we will call Earl.. At the city college. Earl was homeless and attended school their. He was 23 Hispanic and came from low income. I was a recruiter at that point so my job was hey lets get earl in the Navy. Well Earl said no thank you, I want my school. I did my best to sale earl on the Navy, but this homeless guy was determined to get his BA. I talked to him about my girls career how she is going to be an athletic trainer and ect. Turns out Earl likes sports and wanted to be a Nurse, well after talking to Earl I learned allot from him. He lifted in the ally right behind the school. You see earl moved his cart there so he wont be late for school. At times he would go home, but his family was on drugs and did not want to be apart of it. So every day earl would wake up collect his cans and he would even walk to the recruiting office (we bought him car wash stuff) and he would wash all our cars. He did other odd jobs to earn money, but every thing legal. Yard work, worked at the school grounds and ect.
I never saw earl after I left recruiting, but that kid was motivated and I would not mind my tax dollars go to him. I would help him in a second, but his family who is abusing the system I would not piss on them if they were burning.

just that it's kind of a fairy tale story, cinderella story, even tho it's true. there's no way this could happen to many people. if it did it would not be a movie. motivation and upward mobility are great but in many areas there is no way to be upwardly mobile. a lot of towns are letting their roads go back to dirt roads because the town itself is too poor. reality is just so very different for a whole lot of folks. you own your home and the place the whole town worked is shut down... the housing market sucks balls there's no way to sell if you wanted to... a single guy can pack a bag n go but not with kids in school and no money to pay rent. maybe my area is unique because 100 miles from a city doing pretty well there are numerous towns that are losing their paper mills after whole generations making a living in them. the jobs have to be there before you bash people for not having them.
Conservatives donate more to charity. just how it is. sorry to disappoint you. as an example we can take Romney and Obama, or Biden if you so prefer.

Once we get all that gov't spending crap done, stop financing other countries wars. Then beef up our Ag and start becoming more competitive in exporting foods. Then start drilling in the United States and export our oil and us our oil. Stop all the stupid regulations on fuel that will cut more fuel costs. Allow more Diesel cars... Ford has a Focus in europe that gets like 75mpg. The Government should never give money to new businesses for free there should ALL ways be a loan. GM should be expected to pay the money back, all those natural gas and solar companies should pay the money back and ect.

No company in their right mind will return to the US and face the absurd tax rate they will face. If they waived it like Bush did years back you would see that money being brought back, but Obama wont do it. Obama is a people pleaser, and his decisions are based not on the potential effects, but rather the smiles on people's faces. Poor locations will never have enough jobs because areas of high poverty don't provide the workforce to do so. Poverty is a cycle, just like the world rotating, it will never end. Trying to get a person on welfare to work just isnt going to happen. The rich support areas of poverty, yet people complain they're still not paying enough. Many other areas will hire people from Maine preferentially because we are hard workers. There are really great communities here though where people used to make their living cutting lumber for the mills etc. Yes they would make great employees and it'd be nice to have factories set up in areas making jobs accessible to a few small towns. It's bullshit to make Chinese workers more prosperous while neglecting the fact Americans need jobs.
then they should go fuck themselves and not call themselves Americans. funny how it's easy to say too bad to an individual but you want to swaddle corporations and let them keep crying like babies. we can't pay slave wages here or neglect worker safety or ignore environmental impact so it's absurd to then just allow American companies to do those things in China and still sell their goods here.

The problem with American based business and why companies go elsewhere is because of regulations/restrictions. Your leader plans to stiffen regulations on business' rather then losen them in order for companies to grow. Democrats dont understand business, if they did they would finally pinpoint what we've known for so long. Supporting American business here is good, but when you look deeper you realize 90% of the shit bought in America is MADE IN CHINA. Outsourcing jobs isnt the issue, it's the regulations that cause companies to move elsewhere. I laugh when people say buy American...why? when you can buy it where they purchased it in China for half the price. It all starts on our own soil and Obama will NEVER figure that out.

Neither candidate is talking about taking those benifits away. That's a nonissue. Barry's plan cut $716B out of medicare. That being said, we do have the richest people living in poverty in the US. If you do some traveling in Mex and China, you'll see what real absolute poverty actually looks like. The US is the only country in the world where poverty is actually linked to obesity. People who live in absolute poverty don't have cell phones, automobiles, internet, cable TV, etc. That's a good thing and no one is talking about taking benefits away from poor people. The idea is to incent them to get out of poverty, as was done successfully under Bill Clinton with welfare reform. Barry wants to get rid of the work requirement for no reason other than to expand his voting block.
that's just not true that anyone is getting rid of work requirements. obama agreed to let some states decide how to run their own work programs themselves and it made for a very stupid part of the debate. romney is saying we will delegate this to individual states at the same time hes flipping out obama did just that.
