Again, you simply mention "the last 8 years" as if that somehow explains your understanding of Obama's policies. Why don't you explain to me his economic stances and why they are going to help the economy? This will be a good time for you to do some googling so you can appear that you actually voted based on knowledge.
When he raises taxes on damn near everyone, destroys our health care system, kills jobs, infringes on the 2nd amendment and a whole boatload of other left wing policies, those of us who tried to prevent this will have the last laugh.

Higher taxes don't bother you? So if the small business owner you work for gets hit with a tax hike & rather than take the hit himself, he decides to lay you off.. that's ok with you?
These aren't just talking points.. significant tax hikes have real implications... not just a couple bucks off your paycheck.
bull shit. taxes bother the hell out of me. It's my money I want to choose where it goes. I will make much better choices on how my money should be spent than the government will.
I want a strong military, good roads, clean water, and proper enforcement of our laws. Outside of that I want our government to stop fucking with everything. my donations to health care are much more effective than what medicare/medicaid are capable of. government is way too fucking big right now. i want less not more. fuck social security. I'm much better able to provide for my future and that of my parents when they are elderly than the government ever could.
This is how all of your posts should be.
small businesses are business of 500 employees or less. everyone reading this should be doing a mental count of the employees at their company right now. There are companies already laying off because of the scare of what this could mean. There are already businesses closing doors and moving to mexico of all places because of this. cue DOMS.

All these facts being thrown around, they don't work on Obama supporters. Half these guys voted for him because it's cool to vote for the young black guy who promises change, despite being clueless about what his voting record and policies have been.
Negative. Race and color had nothing to do with the way I voted. You may toss this around in your mind, but some people are way past that. Barack Obama was the more qualified person for this job. You elucidate how a Mccain presidency would have changed this economy, and how he would better our lives?

well a complete term in a federally elected position is a good start. knowledge of the military and foreign experience all come to mind.

McCain has completed a federally elected term in government, he has foreign relations experience as well as knowledge of the military. I find these to be needed qualities when I chose who to vote for for president. So tell me. how is obama qualified for the presidency?

as DOMS said, im white and upper middle class. i feel since i work 60+ hours a week 6 days a week all year round, i deserve to keep what i make. i also dont think i should have to pay for those that dont work as hard as i do, or have made poorer choices than myself.
people arent created equally, and they are not products of their environment. there are a lot of people out there (black, white, asian, etc) that are smarter than me, and thats OK. i dont want hand downs from them! i am smarter than a lot of blacks, whites and asians, and i dont want to give them hand downs! thats all.. i am not a socialist.

im afraid because of obamas extreme views. and just so you know, i voted constitution party. i really believe the government has its hands in too much as it is. obama will only make it worse.
as a people we have gotten away from what our roots are. this is the land of opportunity, and we can do anything we want here, and make as much money as we want. if you dont excel, its your own fault.
obama wants to change that, he wants to take from those that are smarter and work harder, and spread it to those that arent so smart, and dont work so hard. and america feels the same way for the most part. people are always bitching that life isnt fair, and they should have more.. and they want the government to provide it to them. sounds like the old USSR to me. now we can be the USSA

social programs have been hitting america long before the bail out. social security and the new deal come to mind as the start of it. the question is do we embrace it fully and not learn from others mistakes or are we smart enough to get back to our roots? at the moment it looks like we are going to continue down the slippery path of socialism

Also the ww2 vet, who is living on his pension because he became disabled during his heroism in combat. he also receives ssi.
His ability to rally a huge majority of the American people for a cause is one huge factor, like he said it's not all up to him to make the changes in our country. We are the country and the economy is us, we can make the changes he is there to provide the leadership. What happened to all of the "The president really doesn't have much to do with how things are run...." when all of us Bush Haters were dumping on him? Now all of the sudden everything hinges on what the Commander in Chief does make up your minds....

Just saying the guy came out with an olive branch and you basically punched the dude in the face. He didn't say anything bad nor ask for a handout.
We make a lot of money and get taxed a lot....a whole lot, so I do have reason to bitch.
