I'm down 10 lbs after a month of leaning from 210 to 200. I only notice changes around the love handles and jawline. This will be my first attempt at the six pac. I hope my abs are developed enough to show something.

So how close am I? How many lbs of fat do I need to loose to get there?
The reason I ask is because I can't seem to nail down my bodyfat %. Results vary 15% depending who I go to for measuring. I am searching for calipers for self measuring, in the meantime I can only go by photos and opinions. I hope the next 10 lbs will do the trick, lest I end up looking like a stick. I can't wait for the midrif to show.
Thanks

I think you look awesome. Big and cut!

10lbs in 2 months is too much of a weight loss imo. Slow it down and aim to loose 1-2lbs a week. That is plenty. One month and 5-8lbs down and that should be a great result! After that, I would then just try to maintain through winter months, maybe you add a few more lbs but dont stress then cut in the summer the appropriate time. Then after that summer you can do a clean bulk and you will look even better on a whole new level!

Good luck, keep it up!

Well, just got some calipers. Acu Measure. It says that I'm around 17.5% bf. If this is right then I will need to loose about 10 lbs of fat for the six pac. It does seem a little high to me but at least I can track my progress now.

depends on your own definition of a six pack as well. if you train and eat right to keep as much muscle during this weight loss, you will look great at the end. for you, 9% might be fine, or 7% - for me its 7%. just go to where you are happy, can maintain, and still be healthy. you are losing weight fairly quickly, might be losing some muscle there.

I'm in agreement with everyone else... take the time to do the rest of it right.

If I were you, I'd shoot for Spring. That way you gain some more muscle mass while getting the sixpack. You're looking good though!

I think the weight reduction of food in my stomach might have accounted for the initial spike in weight loss. Possibly glycogen and water storage as well from all those nasty sugars and salts in my diet. I am loosing about a pound per week now. Still strong too. I don't plan on allowing it to go beyond 12% again if I can help it.

That's BS.

Back off that thinking some more. What's the hurry?
